Assuming that they are not old/out of date. You say that most of the eggs are at the bottom, indication of insufficent aeration.
Therfore have you met the following criteria:
1. temp 28-30c
2. pH min 8
3. Aeration to ensure all eggs are in suspension.
4. followed the salt/egg mix per volume of water.
5. Used a "pyramid" shaped container.
After 24hrs (usually), turn off air, wait 5mins & the unhatched eggs will fall to the lowest point. Just above this area will be an orange mass....live baby brine shrimp....your a daddy.
CAREFULLY syphon off the orange mass, rinse them & feed them to your fry/fish.
Restart, & you may get another hatch in a further 12hrs, albeit less qty.
Throw everything away & sterilize out your container in readiness for next time.

Be a little careful of the spray from the air bubbles breaking the surface, I had a salt encrusted digital camera after leaving it next to the brine shrimp hatchery for a day. The strange thing is that I had a job to even see any spray, but it was there alright. |

you can but shelled eggs (no shells) from ZM which hatch quickly. my last ones hatched in 12 hours. |
