Make sure the skimmer is operating effectively perhaps make it foam a bit wetter and carry out multiple water changes over the next couple of weeks if necessary move all the fish in to a quarantine tank.

Are any of the fish flicking sometimes when this happens it releases all the nematacysts into the tank and all the stock gets stung what sort of anemone was it?

When keeping nems you must put sponges over all powerheads obviously this isn't possible with stream type pumps but generally nems do not go in to the locations that these are normally placed.

It may also be worth while putting a lot of carbon in there to remove organics.

i think it may have been dead before it got sucked up would this change the outcome ,all fish look fine at the moment.

Pollutants are going to be your big problem then if the nematocysts were going to kick off they would have wiped out your fish within an hour or so.
