one 36"X18X18 main tank with 24x12x12 sump/ extra bit. these re going to be the lights: http://www.aquatic-store.co.uk/catalog/pro...products_id=760 the sump will just have a standard t8 tubein it. the skimmer will be this: http://www.petsdeli.co.uk/catalog/product_...oducts_id=14468
also, im going to build an overflow at colledge anyone got any plans? (wouldnt want to drill my tank) and how do you stop the water from overflowing the sump? cheers guys (and galls)

drilling your tank is easy. ive done two now. cant believe i paid to have it done before. |

the sump will not overflow if you dont over fill the top tank....
its only the water that passes through the overflow/or drilled hole/weire that fills the sump.
sump pump will pump only water back to top tank and be replaced with different water compleating the cycle

Nige, remember that in the case of a power failure, the pump will stop returning the water but the syphon will keep going til the vacuum is broken |

thus the overflow box, i thought about it, and if i put a weir in there it wont do that |
