also our sand looks wet in the middle of the tank is this normal? i know that sounds strange considering its covered by water lol

ye i no. my theory is its algea of some sort and its built up an air pocket in side its probably wrong im just guessing.not alot of help on this one sorry .

lol my spelling is rubbish aswelll , yes it just looks slighty darker and wet , it was all the same colour at the begining of the week, we still have not had the water checked or took starfish back so will get it all checked either today or tomorrow... just i dont drive so have to wait till my hubby is off work

is it in the brighter part of the tank if so it could be some light brown alge or if that part of the tank has a dead spot it could be detris from food and fish waste.

ive just looked and i think it may be alge , we have not got alge eaters yet , and ive noticed the inside of the tank is starting to get light brown alge on the glass

thats wat it could be then . a good fish for turning yuor sand over is a sand siffting blue cheek goby i have 2 and they do a brill job.

i had those before its an algae that turns brown after a while it dissapered after a while in my tank
