29-05-2005 13:32 by andy	i am all so trying to breed gold fish in an out side pond, fish had been kept in koi pond but now have been moved to another pond with weeds ,size is 6 foot by 4foot and 18" deep, the gold fish are 4 years old and 6 to 9in long, any help or information would be nice,cheers andy
08-06-2005 03:20 by salsabananas	I used to breed goldfish,best way is to place brushes(avaliable in koi shops).I use a cork on one end of brush to make it float.After spawning lift the brushes up and place into a separate tank.Treat the tank with methalyn blue to stop unfertilise eggs from fungus .When eggs hatch,frys will cling on to glass.When fry starts swimming start feedind with newly hatch brinr shrimps
15-06-2005 09:23 by andy	i have had some sucess, now have 200 to 300 small fry ,4 to 6 mm in length,these are still in small pond with lots of weeds and lots of very small insects,do you think i need to feed them as well with liquifry or brine shrimp
