hi i have just bort a lighting setup it has a halide lamp 150w 10000k and 2 x 30w neon tubes i was wondering if the tubes are ok i have not seen tubes that bule in aquarium shops thanks |

10000k or higher is the right spectrum ,i have a Arcadia series 3 250w,the blue tubes are really for night viewing as my tank is 2ft deep and tubes cant really penetrate at that depth. |
