Hi, recently bought him a few weeks ago at 2". He is constantly looking for food and feeding, now 3.5" and will bite me if not well fed before I put my hand in tank, is this normal growth / behavior as he can draw blood. He has only tried it on with me so far and a few hermits? |

yes this fish grows fast and has a sharp beak stick to the normal feeding plan you have or maybe review it --- how many times a day do you feed and what on |

fed morning on mysis, midday on flake and evening on bloodworm, have to feed with turkey baster or other fish don't get a look in. If I feed once a day he starts looking at my cleaning crew for snacks, numerous amputations, havn,t bought shrimp yet in case they turn out to be expensive trigger snacks. |

Very beautyfull this fish if i were you i would feed with cockels and meaty foods ie squid and would advise not to put hands in tanks as triggers have very powerfull jaws thats y in the wild they crush coral with ease so remember meaty foods |

Sorry to say this really isnt a fish to be keeping with inverts, they naturally would be eating crabs and shrimps etc. Lovely fish but should be in a fish only system... |
