My convicts eggs still haven't hatched yet (4days now), they are still fanning and looking after them, I'm sure i can see tiny black dots that could be eyes in them. could they take longer to hatch ?

zoe i just searched online and found someone saying theirs hatched in 2 days (robert e) in this link...not sure if water conditions eg temperature afects the time eggs take to hatch ....
i know goldfish hatch quicker in sub-tropical water....its how i have bread orandas.

if you can see black dots then give it a litle longer.....im sure the parents will desert the eggs if they turn out to be overdue...
if its their first brood then im sure they will soon brood again ...good luck ....keep us updated ! |
