I have had my coldwater goldfish aquarium set up for 8 months with the same two fish. There have been no new additions. I have recently noticed several small white/clear disc shaped creatures, they appear to have no legs, and are gliding around the glass on the tank, they are also above the water line. They have a small hard shell. What are they? Are they harmful to my fish?

they are limpets(sp) nothing to worry about just crunch them if you can, I have them in coldwater and tropical, I think they came with the plants.
