Puffa illness |

Well as if my main reef tank suffering a major wipe out wasn't enough, my fish only set-up is now looking sad, my Puffa fish has very cloudy eyes and blisters on his gills as well as no sense of direction. Also floating rather than swimming and not eating a thing.
All the water checks are ok so I have no idea what has caused it as yet. Copper medicine has gone in and I'm on day 4 of ten with the treatment but no improvement!!
Damm my luck, surely I cant have two tank wipe outs on the way!! Whats more next Saturday my clown trigger is due for arrival, and I dont want to risk putting him in.....
Talk about the frustration of this hobby!!! |

Copper was no good!! It died!! Unfortunatley the cloudy eyes and blistering appeared at the last minute and I had already started the medication and could not switch to an alternative as directed by the instructions for 4 days.
My clown trigger is coming from Driftwood Aquarium Bamber Bridge 01772 323022, top guy Anthony will help. Not sure if he ships livestock though you will need to ask. Alternativley ask you local supplier to order for you. I have ordered mine at around 3-5 inch in size. He will keep him for a week or so to make sure he is fit and well. |
