If I set up a new tank but use my current mature media filter, will this increase the cycle process? Or will it kill off my healthy bacteria? |

no..if you use the water from your old tank aswell with a bit topped up this will fully cycle the tank. as long as the filter isnt without oxygen for more than 20 mins

Yup, keep the filter running in a tub or something like that so the filter stays alive & you're ready to run. |
