25-05-2006 21:44 by Lexter	oi oi trouble brewing in my Rio 180 community, male Krib has gone beserk, kicking a** in a "killing" way, not just for fun, ripping up me guppies and mollies. If anyone ever seen a male Krib in "action" they will know what i mean, fast as a speeding bullet them boyz when they get the hump, communal fish dont stand a chance. Him and his wife have been trying to breed for months, i always see fry for a few days then nothing. I think he's had enough now ad wants the whole tank for himself. He's acting in a way that make my breeding male convicts look like easy going hippies!!!! Anyway - had to be done sooner or later - gonna move my kribs out now and let them get on with it in their own space. The male guppies will be busy growing back their tails for next few weeks!!!

25-05-2006 21:52 by Lexter	he he not a bad idea! Exam and Essay done, got a B for essay waiting for exam result, am confident, need to pass to get onto year 2 or i wasted £2,500 in fee's but should be ok thanks mate!! You doing ok?
25-05-2006 21:58 by Lexter	my luck is on for tonight, in 5 mins i caught both kribs in a heavily planted tank without disturbing anything, thought i would be there all night Got some of the fry, but they arent even free swimming, dont think they will survive but will put them in a small net in main tank and see what occurs. Male Krib went from being one of the most striking coloured males i seen, to a ghost, from the stress, hope they "pair" up again in new set-up, will be just them two and a flower pot so should be okay i guess.
