26-05-2006 13:27 by BradsDad	I have ordered an Eheim 1262 for my new 150 Gallon tank. As it will be in the sump , I presume no connectors required for the feed side ? Also the pipe from pump to main tank will be flexible pipe is that ok or is hard pipe better ? I plan to have the return pipe slightly under water level in case of power cut. Thanks
26-05-2006 15:27 by wayne	the return pipe should be out of the water in a power cut as if its under then it will syphon , i used rigid pipe as a return , but flexable may be better as you have not as many bends,
26-05-2006 16:41 by BradsDad	Hi Wayne, I was going to have the return about 1/2 inch under the surface level of the main tank. In a power-cut I was hoping the water would go into the sump ( make sure there is enough room ) and as soon as the return is out of the water there should be no syphon. I hope thats right, if not I will try to get the pump out of the water in the sump. Thanks for the help
26-05-2006 17:31 by wayne	enough room ? for what in a powercut you sump will fill up anyway as the out lets will still drain down for a few minutes i would nt worry
