hi there can i use the normal T8 wHITE tubes found in B*Q will thease be ok for my tank .. in total i would have 5 t8 tubes in my marine for coral

No i wouldn't of thought so they will be a different spectrum. Why not just buy the proper ones that way you'll be safe ?

Whites should be between 6500K and 14,000K ideally. Higher will look more bluey white, lower more pinkish, household tubes from B&Q will just encourage nuisance algae... stop being a cheapskate and buy some Interpet TRI-PLUS or POWERGLO tubes...
