28-05-2006 19:43 by deejdave	Because THEY ARENT the same, the gas inside is different so you get a different light spectrum, even if they look the same to your eyes the levels of light out of our visible range will be different, the corals & inverts will see the difference, believe me!
28-05-2006 19:44 by tommy	but when i ordered my ... new juwel lighting from my stockist .. there was a phILIPS cool white t8 tube in there as well as a tropical one ..n my corls loves it . i dnt see the problem
28-05-2006 19:47 by deejdave	The juwel lights are especially made for juwel... they are proper aquatic tubes, not the same as the phillips tubes you get in the electrical shops. Check the manufacturing/order codes.
28-05-2006 19:54 by wayne	I BUY T5 COMPACT BULBS FROM ,INTERNATIONAL LAMPS LTD ,I BUY T5 55W COMPACT 6500K , COLOUR 860 WHICH IS EXACTLY THE SAME BULB AS THE INTERPET ONE WHICH RRP IS 17.99 I PAY 2.95 PLUS VAT WHICH IS ABOUT 3.80, AND THEY ACTUALLY SELL T8 BULBS FOR A THIRD OF THE PRICE WHICH ARE THE SAME COLOUR KELVIN AND WATTAGE , BUT TOMMY B & Q ONES AINT GOOD ENOUGH , THEY ARE TOO YELLOWY AND MAKE ALGAE GROW EVERYWARE
