anyone tell me if a female blue acara can lay eggs without a mate? i have 6 in my tank and i was hopeing they would pair off but none seem to have but a female has laid eggs. |

like most cichlids, you can often get a female/female pair. or if a female has eggs but no mate se will either reabsorb them or lay them on her own
