I have just had two e-mails from cherylfbian002@yahoo.co.uk saying:
I\'m intrested in phurchasing your ( Item ) so i will want you to let me know the actual price that you are willing to sell it for me because i need it verry urgent in this month,i will want you to kindly let me know the present condition of it and also let me see the pics if avialable,do get back to me today.

yes, definate scam. she sent out several emails before we blocked her. |

Just been reading some of the scam alerts what the hell is the world coming to.
All this thing about they will send you a check for £3000 and your tank is up for £300 say so wouldn't one wait until the check has cleared before you would send the money to them anyway.
We know its a scam but you would'nt let anything go unless the check has cleared first anyway would you.
Ya notice that most of tham scams have got a yahell email addy mmmmm.

what they do is to reclaim the cheque funds even after it has beeen accepted and cashed by the bank.
it is a loophole that many are not aware of. even after a few months, cheques can in fact be reclaimed.
so, they reclaim the big cheque they give you, and also cash the smaller payment you give them - this is their profit on the operation.
if they sense you are easy prey, then they will try and milk it further. |
