i have bought a new filter and pump im just wondering wats the best way to put this in as i was thiunking of using the old one still and also the new one so it will mature because im scared incase i get new pond syndrome or my other theory is to put the new one in and use that goodbye new pond syndrome stuff any thoughts wud b much apprieciated |

let them run side by side. failing that use the media from the original filter and add a little to the new filter. if it was mine id let them both run together for 6 weeks or so. i think thats the best option if you dont NEED to remove the first filter. dont worry about new syndrome its unusual and very unlikely to happen. |
