hi there i have had this marine tank for a while now and have seen thease green/brown patches appearing .. they look like the pink coralline agle but these are green what is this .. i is on my new plain no living rocks and my juwel background the one you stick on the inside os the tank |

as far as im aware silica is a form or process of diatoms i did a search for you on google by putting in silica marine i found this have a read. hope this helps.
