My DI unit arrived yesterday, It didn't come with any instructions. I know it goes after the membrane to filter out the las few particles, so that's where I put it.
As it doesn't have any instructions, I don't know if I have to flush it or If I can use the water straight away ??
I have left it running over night so it has been flushed for about 10 hours anyway.
TDS readings this morning are a genuine 335 in and 0 out. I have to say that I didn't think it possible, but there it is on the meter, a big fat zero.
Any way my question to those who use DI is am I ok to start using the water now ?? and how do I know when the resin is spent ??

I would assume you are ok to use the water now you will know when the DI is spent as you will start getting a trace TDS reading.

i had to flush about 50lts. Instructions from Ro-Man, then all was good. Mine started off 0 its now at 2, but this is still good. . Instructions say it is better to flush after every use. Give the membrane a good clean out.
