13-06-2006 20:49 by dave w	Help please...... i have an eheim 2227 wet and dry external filter system and i keep getting an annoying gurgling sound from the breather tube is this normal or is there anything i can do to stop this....thanks
13-06-2006 20:52 by TARTINJOCK	Sounds like it needs bleeding properly, how long has it been like that? They normally clear themselfs after a couple of hours tops......I have no trouble with my 2026, 5 mins and it's silent, might be worth trying again.

13-06-2006 21:32 by trik	no the breather should be longer . the breather out let isnt in the water is it. its ment to be out thats why its a breather buddy . its ment to be just above water line.

15-06-2006 12:33 by vu1974	Dude, I know the problem. Its becuase the breathing dude is not vertical above the filter. If its vertical the water will drain back into the filter. If its not vertical it will get trapped in the breathing tube and hence cause the gurgling sound. HTH
