i got a rock with fuzzy mushrooms on 2 days ago one has already expelled a brown tenticle type thing from center now another is doing it is this normal or is it that they are in to bright a light i have 2 white t5 lights and 2 blue t5 the mushrooms are about 8 inch from top of tank maybe 6 hope some one can help |

they are fine totally normal most corals will do this in one way or another they are just ajusting to the new surroundings , expelling all the waste before they start opening to feed again

will they be ok ner bottam of tank its 20" deep lfs said doesnt matter were they go as they dont need intense light |

that cool how can you tell when they are dead also one turned white yesterday they other corals covered it now it is puffed up were i can see it lol |

the basic rule :if it smells like eggs it dead if it smell s like the sea its fine , |

were is best to put them they seem happiest half way up do they need feeding eg plankton |
