Hello Ray. I have looked into this myself as I want an RO unit for my marine tank, but being on a water metre kind of made me think twice. A friend who also keeps malawi, marine and discuss said that I would be perfectly fine to use the waste water on my malawis as this is what he does. hope this helps.

Thanks Tony,I think it should be ok as it has been through carbon and a sediment filter,so it should just be harder water than the tap, will test it out when RO is running and tds meter arrives,Ray
