What about some Somalian flags Telboy |
22-06-2006 09:47 by Alan

I don't see how flying that many flags is patriotic telboy. Personally I hate football and will never fly a flag off of my house and not for fear of being labelled a racist and having my house egged just for the simple fact that more patriotic thingsa can be done than flying a poxy flag such as where ever possible buying English produce and supporting English enterprise above all else I feel that is far more patritic than flying the English flag that to be frank was probably made in Taiwan.
Each to their own though still think it looks chavtastic!!!! |

patriotic people would fly the flags all year wouldnt they? |
22-06-2006 15:30 by Alan
|
Good point Danny boy ther is a house I know that does just this all year round and I applaud that as it is nothing to do with football pure English pride I just show my patriotism in a more reserved English way. |

yes danny+ alan pop round youll find i do fly the flag all year round ok maybe not all ove the front of my house but theres always at least 1 flying and why does flying the flag make you a chav? im 45 years old with 4 kids + 3 grand kids, of working class and am very proud to fly the flag,i buy british when ever poss, take my hols in britain, but hey thats me i dont particuarly care what anyone thinks about flying the flag as im one amongst many many thousands but hey if ya got nout else to whinge about you guys feel free to keep on whinging at me but remember telboy aint no chav just proud to be english |

i think the flags all over are over the top but im glad we can fly them if we want so stick to it telboy |
22-06-2006 20:44 by chromis124
|
why are they over the top rob r (i am wondering not having a go)
go for it telboy, nowt wrong with it, so glad you are proud, you are a credit to this nation, my tax pays for the others |

|
think about it 124 why not flags for chess/polo/rugby/or any other international competition its not being patriotic its football so it just narks me when people tell me i should have the flags everywhere.let those who want to do it its their choice but those of us who dont shouldnt be pestered to.hope that explains it for myself and others.cheers. rob |

The thing that makes the flag flying in the picture chav is the excess of flag waving it is going to how many flags do you need I would say one top quality one made in Blighty would do not 6.
rob r I am in total agreement the thing that really narks me is people flying england flags from foreign cars absolutely nothing patriotic in a bmw with an England flag if you ask me an England flag on a rover mind you is a different matter.
How is this for annoying I had to fill in a staff satisfaction survey the other day I had these choice for white ethnic origin.
British
Scottish
Welsh
Irish
Other
Where the hell was the English so I ticked other and stated British is not a nationality it is a collection of nationalities hence I am other because I am English!
I was pretty narked the funny thing was it was a survey on ethnic discrimination. |
