hoselock pipe dripping |

i just cant seem to stop my hoselock 40mm pipe from dripping at the bioforce outlet coonection ive tightened the jubilee clip right up but it still drips has anyone any idea how i can stop this PAIN |

take it out, dry it completely and cover the whole area with some silicon glue. |

I wouldn't recommend silicon glue as you may wish to take the pipe off in the future.
First thing make sure the connection point is spotlessly clean and then try again this will hopefully sort it.
If this doesn't work try putting vaseline at the connection point be generous with it and then connect the hose again and tighten that should work.
If it doesn't the other option is to put a rubber band around the male end and then squeeze the hose over the top and then tighten in place if that doesn't work I don't know what will.
Incidentally how bad is the leak how many drips per second or is it a continual stream. At least it is in your garden I had a fluval spring an annoying leak in my lounge will never buy a fluval again! |

mine are all sealed with copious amounts of electrical tap |

sussed it for now ptfe tape then electrical tape on the top imhappy for now lol |
