IF (sorry about caps) you have loads of it sell it to your lfs . good stuff to go in your sump to help get rid of NITRATES..

Fox face remove all you can by hand and then add a fox face to your tank they will happily munch on the stuff.

Algae can be a great way to transport unwanted phosfates and nitrates out of your system.
Basically let it grow, while it is it's feeding on nastys that you don't wand in your water.
Then remove a load of it and throw it away, or share it with someone who wants some.
Then let it grow again and remove some again.
Each time you remove some you are removing nastys from the water for good.
