I didn't actually get to see the thread in question much as I have been having some PC problems but I shall try to find it now!! I appreciate your offer of help regarding starter fish for my tank - it has been delayed arriving for maybe another 6 weeks yet so I have plenty of time to learn adn research

" My question is how many others are there with this view. The "longest thread in history" has only been contributed to by less than 10 people, hardly a healthy representation of overall site membership, and very little to do with fish. Just check on recent posts for contributions by your original group,and knowledgable newcomers, some of whom did have valuable input and advise, you will see a significant demise. Its your site, which in the past has been a great asset to a lot of people, its your choice if you let it become the home for a few sad lonely people who seem incapable of having a sensible conversation, which in all honesty has no place here. There, that should do it, I fully expect the "the few" to get thier teeth into this one
