Hi,
I have two of these's beautiful fish has any one kept them before let me know what their habits are like.
I have mine about 3 months one constantly hides while other floats about tank

They are lovely fish. Grow to about 5" they are central american cave spawners, if you have a pair they may well settle down and breed even at a small size.

They are not fussy but should have slightly alkaline water. A young pair will be ok in a 2' tank but adults will nee a 3' tanks this is also a good size if you are mixing them with othe fish.

i have kept these before they r great fish they act the same as convicts and can even be a little more aggressive at times and they breed as easy as convicts
