its not Rooney's fault, yes he messed up, it's Erickson, what a rubbish manager, also i mentioned at the beginning of the world cup on some thread that for us to get beyond 2nd Rd / QF, Gerrard AND Lampard would have to play EXCEPTIONAL, neither of them did during the World Cup, for me, top players were (throughout world cup)
Ashley Cole Rio Ferdinand John Terry I also thought Joe Cole did ok, and when he came on today i thought Peter Crouch did a good job I also do think that in Paul Robinson we have our keeper for next 5 years And, Owen Hargreaves, cor blimey, that guy is under-rated, what a player, might not be the best player in the world, but there is a place for him (not sure if he is a guarenteed first 11 tho) Any other thoughts lads? |

Another point, I think there are only two vacancies in the England first 11 straight away, thats to replace Gary Neville and David Beckham, they are still good players, but i think it would help send a message that we are re-building, i also think perhaps we need to settle on a striker to partner Rooney. Crouch? Owen? who else? at the moment these players are safe i think Robinson Cole Terry Ferdinand Gerrard Lampard Cole Rooney I must say- i like Joe Cole as an automatic first choice in our best 11 |

lex' why is it sad to paint ya face?just part of following an internatinal team! what is sad is allowing a bias argentine ref to ref an ENGERLAND game! hes been quoted in various papers as saying he prefers portugual to england, and as for rooney i think hes a bloomin[see i didnt swear webbie] hero in the wrong position! should have played 442 with crouchie on with rooney and as for sven taking off joe cole what a mistake? our best player by far hargreaves fought valantily gerrard+ lampard + beckham mmmmm dont work,lennon much better,again terry made a few blunders BUT i think we were the better team after rooney got sent off? even though i blame that on ronaldo cheating leg flipping portuguese! without him it would have been a yellow,i dont think rooney did much wrong anyway! sandwiched by 2 ports ,he came out on top, foot ended up between legs, port rolled round faining injury! but their goalie was better than ours in the end! hence another 2 year wait before we can rise and dominate the world once again just 1 thing to add C;MON ENGLAND yours a very sad England fan
