Dead Parrots |

MY husband has seriously overfed the parrot fish yesterday, woke up this morning to 2 dead ones - 8 inch ones. and very bad water, he's so careful about feeding them but when he tipped it in more fell out, he thought they'd eaten it, but obviously not !
Anyway guess who got the job of doing a massive water change, cleaning all the sponges, disposing of dead fish, and getting 3 kids ready and out of the house by 8.30 this morning ! |

Zoe, I have done this before, Tapping the edge of the feed tub and before you know it a load drops out, Tell him to tap the food into the lid of the tub before pouring it in, that way if there is too much you can pop it back in the tub! But you live and learn as they say! |

Pinch is always the best idea, I use a mixture of pellets and flake in the morning and frozen meat based meal at night, I always put pullets and flake in the lid before i pop it in the tank! |

Hi Ryan i feed my fish in exactly the same way, as we have some large fish and alot of them, i mix flake and pellets in the morning, and then at night we give our a couple of blocks of frozen food, i justfeed them as much as they can eat within a couple of minutes. |
