perhaps the tang is stressed due to bullying or water conditions |

Yanton, Will post a picture tomorrow, Kevin; I have noticed that from time to time that it does like to hide behind my skimmer, but to start off with when i put it in about a year ago it was very bullish towards the other fish, especially my clown. |

The only breed of which there are more than one are the Green Chromis of which I have 3, but there has always been 2 or 3 tiny fry at any time, I have tried to catch em and put em in a refugium but to no avail! , The Tang looks healthy (apart from colour change), eats well and swims very activly, but as mentioned does like to hideaway in the corner behind the skimmer! |

well the fry must be chromis normally they change color due to mood, how long have u had the tang, and is there any other tangs in the tank having a pop at him |

i recently got rid of a sailfin tang and he was put in tank with other tangs and one perticular tang chased and killed him in twenty minutes and during this he changed color, please note the tang was traded at fish shop and was aware of this and said to me dont worry they will stop fighting but they didnt resulting in casaulty. |

I have had him about a year, as said before he was quite bullish towards the other fish, but then he just stopped and I have not seen any other fish chase him, his tail is still bright yellow! Other fish in tank include; small Foxface (who regal tang tends to swim with) a tiny Valentini puffer, Common clown, Scarlet Hawkfish, 3 Green Chromis, and recent additions small Yellow Tang and Copperband, (both extremely docile). |

just see how he goes,as the yellow tang been near him at all as the tangs have like a spine near there tail and sometimes they will go up beside each other and try and inflict injuries using this.or perhaps he is sulking a bit.there is someone called alan on here and he is very clever when it comes to marines,he might post a reply later. |
