07-07-2006 19:32 by Lexter	Ok boys and girls, Lexter is in all night tonight on his lonesome, so i thought i would start a fresh topic WHATS THE STUPIDEST ADVICE YOU HAVE SEEN ON FORUM OR INTERNET ABOUT FISH OR JUST WHAT DOES YOUR HEAD IN??? i dont think we should mention names, wouldn't be nice or just comment on ANYTHING for a bit of chat, but i'll start

07-07-2006 19:35 by Lexter	for me it's when i see people advise to do a 10% or perhaps 15-20% water change if your tank water is HIGH in Nitrite or Ammonia And 10-15% is going to do what exactly? reduce the ammonia and nitrite to a safe level, DONT THINK SO!!!! i understand the importance of not shocking the fish and also allowing for the tank to mature, but come-on 10-15% water change if high in nitrite or ammonia??? and i have seen this been said on the forum on a few times

07-07-2006 21:17 by Lexter	well i dont live that far mate, take me about an hour and a bit to get to Wickford so far i have got a quote of £175 for "gaurenteed MOT pass", but they guy IS pciking up my car and bringing it back same day PLUS i need two new tyres so am paying...... £85 for MOT, pass basically £40 him picking up and bringing back £50 two new tyres what u reckon?? its a W-Reg Corsa, 120,000 miles
