Parrot fish turning black |

Hi. I got a pair of Parrot fish about 3 weks ago. When i bought then, the guy in teh shop said the slight black colour was due to stress - it disappears when they are calm.. They have both settled in very well and seem happy. One has no black on it but teh colour above the eyes remained on the other.
Today however the black has started to spread, particularly towards his fins and tail.
Any ideas what this is and how it can be cured? I am concerned it is some sort of fungus and worse, that it may spread to teh other one.

my bright orange parrot had back sopts whenever i did a water change or move the tank about. These went away after a few hours. Was definitly stress related. |
