hello,
What is the actual tank temp?
Are you taking temperature readings from near the heater or from the furthesr point?
Is the heater near a filter or powerhead etc?
Guppys are normally quite active and playfull, Do you have any other fish that act aggresively to them?
How long have you had the guppys? |

It could be something simple as the heat is not being circulated around the whole tank evenly, I always placed my heater next to intake of internal filter or near the return of an external filter.
Take temperature readings from the furthest possible point.
The other only possibilty i can think of is they are using it as a place of safety, If you haven't already got plants try some, even plastic. the more hiding places the safer they will feel. |
