just wondering i have seen some blue aquarium night lights for sale are these any good .....thanks dave |

if its the tubes like your daylight tubes these r good for viewing catfish and nocternal species the blue neons i find r a waste of money as they dont light the whole tank evenly. I had the blue moonlight bulbs and personally didnt like the look of the aquarium in blue |

same here, good novelty but never use the blue anymore. that said von uses a blue tube with a white tube to great effect in one of her tanks. |

i use a blue moon for the twilight timeings on timer .....all the catfish love it and the cardinals also look nice
i over lap the blue timer with a power-glow

i have an 8footer... i use aqua blue and aqua white together. They look so much more clearer in the water with two colours. adds a hint of glow to the water. i keep the blue on all the time... iv got the tank in my room and leave it on all night... its good to watch my cats, loaches and elephant nose doing their thing with it on... and it helps to add a slight mood to the room
