is it true that they create a lot of waste when they clean... if so where does it go... and is this efficient in a time where water is precious.? |

they create 3 parts waste to 1 part filtered. The waste can be used to water garden. There was a discussion on here earlier about it and quite a few people said that the waste was drinkable and its better than tap water, but im still dubious about this as the ro membrane is naturally flushed through to keep it clear, hence the waste, all the *** doesnt stay in the filter. You have one hose collecting the filtered water the other is up to u, Mine at the mo justs go straight down the kitchen sink untill i sort something out to collect the waste and re use it for garden purposes only |
