The dwarf Angelfish of the genus Centropyge primarily eat microalgae, but will occasionally sample soft corals, anemones, feathers dusters, and plankton.

I have found my coral beauty is not interested in softies or polyps and will simply graze on algae and eat artemia when I feed them. They are not brilliant grazers either but they do look nice had mine for about 5 years now I think they are one of the hardiest angels.
