is it normal for a regal tang to flick himself against rocks and sand now and again or is it sign of white spots looked at him only marks he has are like were sacles have come away hes eatinbg well and happy swimming around all time i think sacle may be loose due to yellow tang stamping down his authority |

any sort of parasite infection will make them flick , if you have the room invest in a cleaner wrasse they pic parasites off fish |

my regal used to fick, and i thought it may be parsites, but it stoped doing it in the end, i also wouldn't advise getting a uv they c**p, i would go for the cleaner wrasse thou |

cleaner wrasse dont live very long in marine tank because they need loads of fish to feed on .so some one told me in a marine shop he sead they last about 3 months |

well i dont doubt that someone told you that coz ive been told that but my cleaner wrasse has been in my tank for over 2 years and he dont just eat parasites , he loves nothing more than picking at my arm when i have my hand in the tank , and he loves brine shrimp |

it is known that any sort or tang is prown to parasites. especiaaly regals they are and very sesitive to stress |
