started treatment tonight, all fish seem ok, apart from my two young oscars, one is covered in spots, but still feeding, is this disease easily cured and how harmful is it????? |

to see how long it would take for folk to start bitching, i believe in not using chemicals other than dechlorinater, to many peeps bombared there fish with chemicals, thats all, i dont believe in using chemicals, thats my opinion |

Yeah, nice tank, a bit different (avalanche!).
Back to whitespot tho. Use WS3 (concentrated and great value) as per instructions (1 drop per gallon) and up temp to 80F if not there already. Repeat dose every 48 hours. No carbon.
I say keep going with treatment even when all spots gone for another week.
Once had to double the dose or lose an isolated clown loach - not recommended perhaps but it worked and fish is now 11 years old.
The baby? I was gonna say feed it to the arowana but that would be cruel. Far too cute, I couldn't do it. |
