Picked up my discus last night, 3 Cobalts, 3 Steel Blues and 3 Marlbro Reds.....

Went to the butchers and bought some nice fresh pieces of beef heart, Froze it.... Then this morning gave the discus there first feed... I grated the frozed beef heart into a bowel and added it to the tank...but they dont seem bothered about it, They are just hiding at the back of some rocks, But with the fish being so young 1.5"-2.5" i need to feed four times a day, and 10% water change per day to keep nitrates down......

Any ideas why they are off food, Fed beefheart at 5:45am, and a pinch of ZM granules at 7:45am before i left work....

But still they didn't eat!

don't panic, a few days without food whilst they settle won't do them any harm, they will feed when they are happy in their new environment

I purchased my Dicus from a breeder at conisborough, He is very, very good...

Quality is second to none and his fish house is quality, He said he doesn't make much money just enough to cover feed and bills etc!
