don't think so, some leathers do lean for no reason like wayne said leave it for a while and keep an eye on it |

i had this problem, all water prams fine or SO I THOUGHT, needed a new nitrate test kit as i ran out, tested with new kit and hey! old test kit giving me false readings, not by a little, but miles of! have you tested for nitrates and if so how old is your tester. i have now bought my nitrates into a safe range and leather is showing good sighns again. |

I posted on your other thread but basically check carbonate hardness and calcium as well as testing phosphate and nitrate the latter 2 will prevent the coral from laying down new skeleton and may start to disolve the skeleton the fiirst 2 are essential again for building the skeleton and maintaining it if these are to low the skeleton may start to disolve. If you have problems maintaining calcium levels check you magnesium level as if this is very low it will cause calcium to crash. |
