I've got a Nimbochromis Venutus, Livingstonii & a beast of a fuscotaeniatus. None are the friendliest fish available
Made my point on the other subject so now forgotten
If you dont mind a little bit of crtisism, you should have read up on the Poly's, if the water is not hard & alkaline they will not thrive. The Birchar will be OK also in such conditions but not sure about your other fish in the tank |

I'd treat this guy with a lot of caution, obviously doesnt know or care about the fish he sells |

Yeh they swim around in big shoals and spend a lot of time hiding waiting for prey fish as they are predatory.
Mind you, if the Bircar was near full size they would need to watch thier own arses |

Apparently, in the wild, Nimbochromis Polystigma 'play dead' and lie in their sides. When smaller fish come to pick at the corpse, they spring into life and grab them for lunch. |
