yes they have a strainer top and bottom usually, but this is over come by putting a small amount of filter pad in the bottom to stop rowaphos getting back in to sump if you have power cut, and a small amount on to stop it getting in to sump wen running,.

yes it has filter sponge cut to size at the top and bottom , its got a 12mm in let and a 4mm airline hose outlet is that right should i just let it drip back in ? what do i do with the rowa phos /? put it in a\ bag or loose , what are the benefits of running it through a reactor ? and will the rowa phos last longer?

a normal reactor has 12mm in and out, but the flow through it is slow its best not in a bag and you need the rowa to simmer on the top (move slowly) you will need to flush it first with tank water to get the fines out , flush it into a bucket a couple of litters should do it. any problems give us a call .

lol. as for lasting longer , yes , as you use the whole surface area of each grain, not like wen in a bag it cant move and water passes around it with very little absobstion, good i wish i could spell. i will pm you my number.
