also collecting my ro unit today it comes with tap adaptor and all filters do i need anythink else for it or do i just conect it to the tap and turn the tap on also dose the water haveto off been running throu it for a while or can i use it straght away |

you should flush the ro unit for 5 mins before using the water, also do you have a tds meter? |

tds means total dissolved solids.A meter will tell you how much solid matter is left in the water by your ro unit,you can also use it to monitor the perfomance of the membrane in the ro,I have a 4 stage ro unit and the tds mesurement is zero,as the ro unit is exhausted the mesurment will rise indicating the need to replace components |

a tds meter tells you how clean you water is after going through your ro unit, you don't have to have one but it is advisable as it's the only way to tell how well your ro unit is working |

I think you have to let it run for a few hours (24 hours I think) before first use. |
