what are the requirements, just bought some i know it needs a good current but thats it ?

dont overskim the water as sponges are filter feeders - they do a great job of filtering your water, taking out any organic floating particles.

my blue sponge didn't prosper in bright light, but did better in a shadier place in the aquarium.

i found red ball sponges easier to keep.

also dont take it out of the water as it will die or if you have any fine bubbles in the tank this could alsos damage it
