The male usually will have dark/black anal fins, he may also get a black area around his mouth once mature!
Although i have seen this on females in the past, egg spots? |

hard to sex as males and females can and normally do look the same. sometimes a dominant male can have a black mask. but as a rule they need to be vented to be sure |
