I think you get more insulation in less volume with polystyrene sheets. make sure you include a waterproof membrain to prevent condensation behind insulation |

when insulating houses we use kingspan or roof insulation. the jabalite (polystyrene) is used for floors. the advantage of kingspan is that it does have a silver sheet backing which would be cleanable etc |

im thinking of putting battons on the wall and maybe using polystrene as it does really matter if it gets a bit wet,and then boarding over it |

if it gets wet it'll mold over and rot. if its inside your house then its already insulated well enough just do soething for the windows |

Wayne have a look at a product called trespa, its a highly pressurised laminated panel, water, snow, mould, nothing touch's it, we use it in curtain wall screens and farcades, its expensive but its a life time guarentee!

is it not possible to just have one indoors thats my dream if you got the space just have one small or medium size bedroom with loads of tanks. My only worry is condensation but wayne you will save money and hassle with all this heating and insulating headaches. Also are you going to run them all off one filter? is it possible |

wayne ive just come in to a lot of cheap kingspan. gimme 15 quid a sheet (8' x 4') and you can take as much as you need. bear in mind its almost double that in the building merchants |
