no offence mate but they just look like regular convicts, all be it quite colourful but its not unusual to get colourful convicts especially females. Nice fish.

No offence taken mate but i've been keeping/breeding cichlids for 15 years + and i know what fish i own
These fish are only 2.5" and have some maturing to do and do look similar to Nigrofasciatus when young, but change a lot when reaching maturity

darren red points generally have more rounded mouths than the ones in your pics. Also 2.5" is a good size for a red point, you wont get them much bigger than 3 or 4" really. If they are red points mate they just aint the usual colour or appearance thats all, but it might just be the angle of your pic or something? but i am not an expert, enjoy your fish

I'm sure there red pionts, because i was going to get a few the other day and they look the same as the ones in the pic.
