Well i thought i'd update you all as peeps have been asking how things are going with my Mrs and the baby, she is now 9 days overdue, the midwife came out sunday and tried to get things moving with a sweep but Helens cervix is to far back due to Baby Elissia's head being to far forward, the midwife has booked Helen in for a peserie sunday night, Helen will stay in hopsital sunday and be induced by 8am monday morning, So.... this time next week i'll be a Dad... Looking forward to meeting her now...
Just to keep this fish related, I'm considering selling both my set ups, I would like to sell both so i can buy a minimum of 5ft, the new tank will be malawi and stuffed with ocean rock, so if anyone is interested I have a discuss set up and malawi set up, further details on request, both in beeech, loads of extras!
Let me know via the PM system, may consider selling fish and ocean rock, bogwood seperate to maximise my return on the tanks!
Cheers Paul, I want to achieve what i've achieved in malawi set up, but bigger, TBH the discus just dont do it for me, I'm malawimad...lol, i want a 5ft set up to look like this!
it will be a shame to let them both go to start again, I will be keeping my favourite malawis in a spare 2ft i have, want to keep the larger OB zebras, scolofi, red zebras, esterate, anything less then 2.5" i will let go with the tank!
once the 5ft is done it will look sweet, its guna take time i know but be worth it!
The discus are a pain in the back side Paul, to much looking after and maintenance for me, malawi's seem to be easy, and with less and less time on my hands lately discus are bottom priority!
Good luck Ryan + Helen, with a bit of luck she could well start before Sunday.
As for the 5' tank I know where your coming from always wanting bigger & better,as we do!
Just thought I'd mention my lombardoi has finally got it together with the correct female & we are now expecting true baby lombardoi's, along with the zebra that's also carrying his again
I thought you loved your discus, and out a lot of effort into them and i can see where you are coming from and they do require a lot of effort to keep discus.
