*Hurray* My lomabardoi has finally got it together with the correct female.
Although he still mates with the zebra.
Its so funny watching him with the females,he's like a gentle giant with them,
Not too aggressive,he swims around them slaps them in the face with his tail to get their attentions.
Performs his little dance in front of them & then swims to his cave that he's dug out for them,
They follow nearly every time.

I really dont know what to ask for both set ups TBH, the malawi set up has well over £100 on fish alone, plus another £50 ocean rock, then the tank and base!

plus filters, spare bits and bobs etc...

Ryan why are you selling off some of the Malawi?
They will grow & thrive in a 5' tank

I know, but need to maximise my return on the tanks, I will be keeping the larger malawi's i have and selling the tank off with fish less than 2" or so... looking at a 5ft from N&D Aquatics, around £360 delivered.... But i'm going to need a good external filter, powerheads, new sand for base, plus in a 5ft i want at least 70kg of ocean rock, which will be around £80-90, Do cost is running away with me already!

Anybody need any ironing doing? Our lass is bang on at it, £5 for 10 garments!

Saf...Just to let u in on a secret, u need a minimum of 18" front to back as discuss can grow 15" in diameter, You need to do some research i think, look at the price of discus firstly, then the things you'll need to maintain there requirements, then look at a tank, filters, gravel, wood, plants, co2 system, heater etc etc...

Then think about what you have actually got to spend, then start looking!

What did you wanna pay exaclty?

TBH Saf if you want a good system for discus be prepared to pay a little more than £200!

Now its enough said as far as i'm concerned! You obviously haven't looked into this...

I think a biorb with platties is about your league!
